Jim and Cherie Feehan founded American Auto Body in 1979. After only a year in business, they moved the company from North Minneapolis to Osseo. The larger facility was able to accommodate their rapid growth.
After years of success in Osseo, MN Jim and Cherie built a new, even larger facility in neighboring Brooklyn Park.
Jim and Cherie retired in 2006. Their eldest son, Matt, purchased American Auto Body from his parents and has been running the business ever since.
In 2018 American Autobody rebranded as Fix Auto Collision and opened 2 locations, in Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park.
